July 26, 2018 – Daily Stats – End to End on the Long Trail

- Start: Lincoln Gap
- End: Emily Proctor Shelter mile 128.7
After making a frittata like dish for our hosts, True Friend and I were off to a late start; 11:30 or so we set out.
The first few hours provided a steady pounding of wind and rain. Soon thereafter the trail turned into a waterfall of sorts. Each step provided a spongy squish within my shoes.
When the sun finally came out, I took some time on top of Mt. Roosevelt to lay back and enjoy the toasted warm rocks beneath me.
Dinner was from Harmony House, one of my favorite dishes they have, Creamy Good Corn Chowder and lots of warm beverages.
